House | OslavanyNarrow sloping land is always a huge challenge for construction. The three-storey house for a young couple with a dream of interesting living full of unconventional spaces, emotions and moments saves floor space and stands out above the surrounding disparate village buildings in the South Moravian town of Oslavany. The rectangular plan of the building follows the boundaries of the plot in contrast to the internal layout, which is entirely oriented in a north-south direction. The rotation of the internal layout creates a trapezoidal vertical communication space with a winding staircase and an open mirror connecting the individual floors of the house. On a footprint of just 7 x 10 m, the house thus offers a generous interior with an interesting layout. The volume of the house is connected to the covered parking space by a distinctive RIBBON represented by vertical wooden lathing.
