Sediment

As we grow older, we feel the desire to settle down. But to comfortably fit three generations in a narrow space at once, the space must be vertically stratified. And so SEDIMENT was born. After renovating a three-storey apartment building with a basement, three generations of housing were created, divided into floors. The first floor, with a 29 m2 apartment unit, terrace, and a garage, is reserved for the family´s oldest members. The second, with a 51 m2 unit, is for the younger generation. And the third, with a 78 m2 unit, attic and roof terrace, is reserved for the youngest. A central staircase in the middle of the layout connects the individual floors. Thus, three generations meet under one roof and can share their life stories together.
